Islamic Foundation School is home to one of the far-reaching athletic programs in the Chicago land area. We currently offer a variety of sports for the high school, middle school and elementary school.

Islamic Foundation High school students participate in the Chicago Metro Prep League which consists of 9 Private Schools and participates in Class 1A in Illinois High School Association (IHSA). Islamic Foundation Middle school and Elementary school participates in the Southwest Conference league which consists of 5 private schools.

At IFS we believe that a vibrant program of athletics is vital to the complete educational development of the child. The schools philosophy focuses on evolving programs that are developmentally sound and success oriented. A few goals of the IFS athletic program are enable students to: develop life skills, gain knowledge of the sport, set personal goals, experience a competitive environment, develop respect, sportsmanship, self-discipline and a team spirit. It is imperative that we set high standards for our students’ academic and personal achievements. Our objective is to develop and nurture the skills and abilities of our student. Through athletics, we desire to teach and exemplify the qualities that will assist in the social and scholastic development of our young men and women.
